Kim Borton

Kim Borton is President of the Fred C. and Katherine B. Andersen Foundation, a foundation serving the St. Croix Valley, Western Wisconsin, and East Metro area. In this role, Kim brings over two decades of nonprofit, philanthropic, and civic leadership experience. Her previous roles include Vice President at Thrivent Charitable Impact & Investing, Director of Programs at the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, and Director of Professional Development at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, among others.
Kim is active in civic life, having served on numerous boards, advisory roles and community volunteering. Kim also finds joy as a parent to a curious 11-year-old, backyard “suburban farming” with her spouse, spending time on the St. Croix River, and training for races.
