One of my key takeaways from NC PETS in March was the importance of trust in club leadership. As your leadership team, we are committed to transparency and keeping you informed about the work we’re doing.

When Schuyler had to step down in December, I told the board I would step up—but only with their help. They have been supportive throughout this transition, and I want to especially recognize Scott Mercer. Whether you call us co-presidents or refer to our succession terms, Scott and I, along with incoming President Nominee Molly Landgreen and our entire Board of Directors, are working as a true team to lead our club.

Across our district and Rotary International, there is a strong push for change as membership numbers decline. While we must explore new ways to attract and engage future members, I also believe our club has a strong foundation—one that may simply need a spark to reignite its momentum.

This is where you come in. I invite each of you to be part of this journey. Many of you have dedicated years of service to Rotary. Your experience, insights, and vision are invaluable. What are we passionate about? What do we want to accomplish as a club for our community and the world?

Please join our visioning session on April 10th to help shape our future. If you cannot attend, we still want to hear your thoughts. Please share them with any of us.
