Last Week's Program
Club member David Wick gave a presentation on the history of our club as we approach the 100th anniversary.  Rotary was founded in 1905.  The Stillwater club was founded in 1919, as the 4th club in Minnesota. David reminded us of our club's mission and vision and challenged members to think about how we want to celebrate the 100 years and how we want our club to be remembered.

If your club plans to submit a proposal for a grant in 2018-19, it is mandatory for a least one club member (2 or more is better) to qualify. Even if your club does not have an immediate plan, it is a good idea to attend in case a need arises during the year. If there is a sudden project that crops up and your club has not been qualified, you are not eligible to submit a proposal.
In addition, this year there is a bonus half-hour at the end of the seminar presented by Craig Leiser, our District International Service Chair, He will outline how his new position can assist, clarify and expedite global projects going forward, If you have any ideas on global project  in the future, this will be time well spent.
We looking forward to seeing you at one of our seminars in the near future,
Yours in Rotary Service,
Gary Campbell
District Foundation Chair
