Feed our Heroes - Giving Back
Stillwater Chamber of Commerce - Giving Back

We are calling it Feed our Heroes and we will be launching it next week. We also started The Greater Valley Take Out Rally Facebook site to assist our restaurants and small businesses. We continue to connect businesses with each other and they are stepping up to work together.

Wills for Workers - Giving Back

Eckberg Lammers - Giving Back!

Eckberg Lammers is proud to introduce ‘Wills for Workers’ a FREE relief program available to healthcare providers and first responders (including paramedics, police officers, and firefighters) in the St. Croix Valley, who are on the frontline during this pandemic.

These heroes are risking their health and welfare every day to help and serve others in the community. Now it is our turn to give something back and give them one less thing to worry about as they fight this disease. That is why, if you or someone you know is a healthcare provider or first responder – servicing or living in the St. Croix Valley we are offering FREE basic Estate Planning Services, including:

  •       Wills
  •       Powers of Attorney
  •       Healthcare Directives
  •       HIPPA Releases
  •       Electronic Authorizations

Our estate planning team delivers custom estate planning services specific to individual needs so they can enjoy peace of mind both during and after this pandemic.

For more information regarding this program or instructions on how to apply visit our website or for the full press release click here.

Help Needed - STRIVE scholarships
It's that time of year to award the STRIVE Mentoring scholarships to SAHS seniors who have submitted an application & project for the awards.

I am looking for 5-7 Rotarians from the Sunrise, Noon and Lake Elmo clubs who would be willing to serve on the scholarship review committee:
Apr 13--Brent will send scholarship applications & projects to committee members
Week of April 14-20--committee members will review the six applications.
Apr 20, 4:30pm--Brent will convene the committee at 4:30 in an online (Zoom) conference call to discuss the applications and vote on the awards.
At maximum, this will be a 3-hour commitment.

Current STRIVE mentors are not eligible to serve on this scholarship committee so as to take bias out of the awards process.

Reminder, all three clubs are contributing to this year's scholarships:
Stillwater Sunrise $9,000, Stillwater Noon $1,000, Lake Elmo $3,000.

If you are willing and able to serve on the committe and are available to join us on a Zoom call Mon Apr 20 4:30, please email me at brentv@usfamily.net by end of day Sun Apr 12.
