MEETING DATES: November 14th and 21st. December 5th, 12th, and 19th.

SERVICE ACTIVITY: Wednesday, December 11th from 11am-7pm, there will be an opportunity to do bell ringing outside of Cub Foods in Stillwater. Members can sign up for 1-hour shifts. We are still in need of TWO bell ringers each for the 5pm and 6pm shifts. If you are available, please email Alyssa or sign-up at one of the weekly meetings.

Service Committee

Thank you to the Rotarians who participated in our Fall service opportunities. The highway cleanup was a success and we’d like to thank Dave P, Lois, Molly, Jerry, Amanda, Doug, and Schuyler for cleaning up the ditches! Our club participated in Community Thread’s Rake A Difference Day again this year. Thank you to the volunteers (and their leaf blowers!) for a quick and efficient clean up – Patty, Erwin, Schuyler, Dave P and Katie!

LAST MEETING: Lonny Stormo from Stillwater Sunrise spoke to the club about Crutches 4 Africa. A district grant has been successfully matched for the shipping container of mobility equipment that will be sent to Africa for distribution.

How our club can help:

Let’s help you declutter your storage of a few items we know you have…..old crutches! It can be walkers, canes, walking boots, prosthetic legs, wheelchairs (not electric), knee scooters, braces, slings, baby joggers (not strollers), and bicycle trailers that will all be delivered to people in need in Africa. We committed as a group to hold a collection on Thursday, December 5th. We will find another date as well if needed.
