Stories
Member of the Week
Sharon Hollatz

I joined Rotary when I served as executive Director of Girl Scouts Peacepipe Council in southwest Minnesota.  The council served 25 counties of southwest Mn.
There were several Rotary clubs within this area so I would attend and network in an attempt to find ways to secure funding for the council.  The strategy worked well!
It was a wonderful way to meet community leaders. My original Rotary club was in Redwood Falls.  The club had numerous members and I enjoyed going every week to visit and hear the programs.  Attending the 100th anniversary convention in Chicago was a memorable experience.
Growing up I wanted to be a teacher I played school with my sister and brother, I did become an elementary school teacher!
