Why did you join/what keeps you in Rotary?
I was invited to Rotary by a past member, Mitch Noah. He thought I would be a good addition to the group and thought it would be a good opportunity to help give back to the community. He had called me before attending my first meeting to let me know that they sing
The relationships with my fellow Rotarians keeps me coming.
Family, important people in your life?
I have been married to my wife Kara for 20 years. She is from Wisconsin so we are a split household between the Packers and Vikings. Kara is a Reading Specialist at North Hudson Elementary. We have 3 children, my oldest Nora (17 - Senior at Stillwater Area High School), George (14 - Freshman at Stillwater Area High School), and Evelyn (11 - 6th Grade at Stillwater Middle School).
Favorite Rotary project, memory, or thing you are proud of?
I had really enjoyed my time assisting with our previous annual fundraiser, Stillwater Sampler & Taste of the Valley. I had fun getting to know and work alongside many of our fellow Rotarians, some of them that are not with us anymore unfortunately.
Fun Fact you want us to know?
I am an avid tennis player that played in college, and State Champ at Stillwater High School (1997)
