Last week Christopher Pennell Phd from the U of MN Masonic Cancer Center gave an informative look at what cancer is and new pathways to treatment that are being pursued.

Relay for Life

This Friday Night!

Relay For Life is happening on August 7 ^th 5pm – 11pm at the Zephyr Theater.

Lois is selling Luminary Bags for $10 each.

If you would like to purchase a luminary, please email Lois at rlraboin@comcast.net with how many you want and the names you would like on the bags (in memory of or honor of). Put "Relay" in the subject line. You can pay her when you see her.

Everyone is invited down to the Relay. You will have to sign a release form and all COVID 19 prevention practices will be followed. Masks are required and will be available to all. We will be limiting the number of people on the track at a time to follow social distancing guidelines.

Townie Tuesday - September 1, 2020

Our club is the featured “Townie Tuesday” organization at Lift Bridge Brewing on September 1^st. During the event, our club will receive a donation of $1.00 per glass sold and $2.00 per growler sold. There will be delicious beer, seltzers, root beer, and a food truck onsite! We will also have a raffle drawing for gift certificates to local restaurants who have participated in The Taste of the Valley. The taproom is open to the general public that evening and our club will receive a portion of all sales, not just Rotarian sales. This will be a fun event for some much-needed fellowship and will be great exposure for our club. Invite your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors! See Katie Bang with questions.
