Anne Anderson - Moved to Stillwater after riding the trolley as a tourist.
Tom Hollatz - Impressive career and also a football referee.
Jason Howard - Dad was a Rotarian.  Gave us information about his life with "good news dollars".
Molly Landgreen - Mother of three daughters.

Upcoming District Event
 
Black Nativity is an annual tradition of lively Christmas theater, music and spirit provided by the Penumbra Theater of St. Paul since 1987.  This homegrown show returns with exceptional lead vocalists, the outstanding Kingdom Life Church Choir, and the stirring choreography of Uri Sands of TU Dance. Join us for an experience full of joy, community, and spirit.

You will find more information about the theater and the performance at www.penumbratheatre.org.  We have reserved tickets on a first come first serve basis and are located center stage in the closer rows to enjoy as a group.   Numbers are limited. Ticket cost $36 per person.
 
After the performance, please join your Rotary 5960 friends for 6:00 dinner at Dixie’s On Grand, 695 Grand, St. Paul.  You will be seated with other Rotarians and you’ll enjoy the evening with friends you haven’t met yet!   
 
*Please note this a "meal on your own."  Dixie's on Grand will be able to provide separate checks. 
District 5960 Mid-Term Rally
The District Mid-Term Rally is just around the corner!
 
Saturday, January 12th at Hamline University from 8:30-2:30pm.  Lunch is included.  This is a great opportunity to learn new ideas, meet fellow Rotarians from around the District and get energized to make a difference during the rest of the Rotary year! GROUP CULTURAL EXCHANGE
Ready For a WORLD OF CHANGE?

Germany District 1860 - Spring 2019
 
Rotarians of District 5960,
 
I am pleased to announce that District 5960 has arranged a Group Cultural Exchange next spring with District 1860 in Germany.  This will be approximately a two-week trip.  We expect the German team here in 2019-20 Rotary Year . The outbound team to Germany will travel the end of May (21st-31st).  If you are interested in more information or to get an application, please go to: https://rotary5960.org/Page/group-cultural-exchange.
 
The purpose of the trip is foster International goodwill, peace and understanding. Team members will help identify service projects that can be executed by clubs working together from each District.
 
The Team will be in home stays in their destination districts. Teams are open to Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike who are at least 25 years old.  Team members may go as couples.
 
Applications are available from the District office or can be downloaded from the district website.  The deadline for receipt of the applications is December 7, 2018.  Depending on need, an interview date for the team would be on the morning of December 15, 2018 at the District Office, 2233 Hamline Ave N, Suite 620, St. Paul.  Further information on the interview will be determined after receipt of the applications.
