It was a beautiful night for socializing. On August 31st, the Social Committee met to plan some fun nights out for this Rotary year.

 

MEETING DATES: September 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.
 

Last year, your board of directors began the move to go back to weekly meetings, recognizing that a move could be a financial hardship for our newer members that joined under a different model (ie: biweekly). To help, the board authorized a stipend to modify their dues. If any member would like to be considered for the stipend, please contact Keith Komro. The stipend would be up to $60 per billing cycle. Our club, along with Stillwater Sunrise, are also collecting Saver Stamps from Cub Foods. If you shop at Cub, they will ask if you are saving the stamps- say yes. We have a container set up at the meetings for you to drop any stamps you would like to donate. With the stamps and completed cards, new pots and pans will be given to the families when they arrive.

As most of you know, Valley Trophy closed their shop at the end of April. We have found a new local shop to order badges from. We will be ordering new badges over the next few months. Please confirm with Alyssa how you would like your name to be displayed on your badge. You can email or speak to her at a weekly meeting.

LAST MEETING: Dana Millington and Christie Hogan spoke to our club about bringing an inclusive playground to Stillwater. They stressed the importance of inclusivity for kids of all abilities!
