I'm Molly Landgreen. I believe I've been in Rotary 8 years, about to be 9.
I was born in Stillwater. We spent several years in Little Falls, MN while I was growing up, but we moved back, and I graduated from Stillwater High School. I went to St. Cloud State and then UW - River Falls with the intention of becoming an English teacher. I then went into accounting and earned an accounting degree from Metro State one year before my oldest graduated from high school. I have worked for the same company for the last 28 years.
I have 3 grown daughters Emily, Tessa and Megan and just became a grandmother to Mila. I also enjoy spending time with my mom, 1 brother and 3 sisters and their families.
I joined Rotary because my brother. Doug Brady invited me. I was looking for service activities and social connections as my daughters were finishing school and their activities were winding down. I stay for those two reasons and because I have always had a love of learning, and Rotary has exposed me to so many different ideas and people. I really enjoy the speakers and members of our club.
When: Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 9:00am Where: Downtown Stillwater at the Pedestrian Plaza near the lift bridge What: A one-mile walk to generate awareness of polio and raise funds to continue Rotary’s work to eradicate the debilitating disease
Our club, along with the other Rotary clubs of the St. Croix Valley, are raising money and awareness for the eradication of polio. We are so close to eradication but we aren’t there yet. Please plan on attending the event, which is a one-mile walk from the pedestrian plaza in downtown Stillwater and across the lift bridge into Wisconsin. There will be interactive opportunities to learn more about Rotary’s involvement in eradicating polio along the way. To register, use the Eventbrite link. Each registrant is strongly encouraged to make a minimum donation of $25 directly to Polio Plus. So, registration is a two-step process. You need to sign up all of your walkers on Eventbrite and make a donation to Polio Plus. See Amanda or Katie with questions. We hope to have a good showing of Stillwater Rotarians!
There is an All Club Luncheon scheduled at the upcoming Zone Institute on Friday, October 3 at Mystic Lake. Every Rotarian is invited. Rotarians from 23 Districts will be in attendance. Also in attendance will be RI President-Elect Olayinka Hakeen Babalola, RI President-Elect-Nominee Larry Lunsford, RI Past-President Jennifer Jones, and RI Directors Salvador Rizzo Tavares and Isao Mizuno. Come learn more about Rotary and have some great fellowship. (If you are already registered for the Institute, this luncheon is covered in your registration fee.)
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 24 at the Lake Elmo Event Center.
The meal packing event is expected to start at 5 o’clock and the wings cook off to follow.
Our club will need people to sign up for either the meal packing event from 5 to 6 and can stay for the wings cook off afterwards, and they can certainly sign up for both.

THANK YOU to Patty, Sharon, Tom, Lois, Katie, Amanda, Bev, Clare and Sam (Clare’s son) for packing 40 backpacks for United Way’s Stuff the Bus campaign. They helped ensure that local kids would have all that they need to succeed on the first day of school. Service above self in action!
