I have been a community banker in the St Croix Valley for 31 years.  I am married with two grown children and still reside in Stillwater. I’m a bad golfer and a decent fisherman. smiley

Mariah Young

My name is Mariah Young, and I am a wife, mother, daughter, and proud community member. I have been married to my husband, Warreese ("Reese") Young, for 12 years. Over the years, our family has moved several times, but in 2021 we found our home in Somerset, Wisconsin. That same year, I began my career with Lake Elmo Bank.

Reese and I have three wonderful children: our daughter, Syriah, who is 12, our son, Micaiah, who is 10, and our youngest son, Keon, who is 7. Family is at the center of everything I do, and I love spending time with them as they grow and explore their own interests.

I grew up in Harris, Minnesota, on a hobby farm with my parents and four siblings. Horses were a big part of my childhood, and they continue to be an important part of my life today. I still own my childhood horse, Kijiah, a 21-year-old mare, and I enjoy spending time trail riding whenever I can.

While I still love horses, my greatest passion these days is gardening. I enjoy caring for my perennial gardens and growing indoor houseplants. A perfect day for me is one spent outdoors in the garden
This combination of family, hard work, and a love for the outdoors has shaped who I am today, both personally and professionally.
