Thank you to Scott Mercer for cooking the pork ribs at the Area 11 Cookoff (Stillwater Sunrise took 1st place). There were only 3 members from our club who attended this year, we are hoping to have more club involvement next year.

* Interact Club at SAHS -- Committee to establish and maintain an Interact Club for Stillwater Area High School in coordination with Sunrise and Lake Elmo Clubs.

LAST MEETING: We heard from Kirsten Carter and Lauryn Sawotin with the Stillwater Area High School BIZAA Club. Each year, the club hopes to sponsor 7 children in Nigeria by helping to stop human trafficking and child labor and supporting education. They shared with us how the grant they received ($950) was used to help sponsor one child in Nigera (and their family) for an entire year, while the child went to school instead of work.
