MEETING DATES: May 9th, 16th, and 23rd

CLUB SOCIAL: There will be no weekly meeting on May 30th. Join us for the club social at 5pm at P.D. Pappy's in Stillwater.

SAVE THE DATE: Annual Presidents' Picnic Celebration. Thursday, June 27th 6-8pm. Autumn Hills Park, Oak Park Heights. An invite and Sign-Up will be available in May.

Volunteer Opportunity: Dine Here Dance Here

Volunteers are needed for the Dine Here Dance Here event on Saturday, May 18th. Sunrise and Noon Rotary Clubs have been asked to find 16 volunteers to help with the "Dine Here" portion of the event.

There will be two time slots available: one from 3-5pm and one from 5-7pm. Check in at the check in table close to the front of the lift bridge.

Volunteers will work with the Stillwater Boats to plate meals in an assembly line type set up. The football team will be serving the meals to the guests. Your shift will be complete after everyone has been served.

Last Meeting

LAST MEETING: We celebrated LAW DAY by holding a joint meeting with the Stillwater Lions club, a tradition that goes back many years for our clubs.

We had the privilege of hearing from the Honorable John “Jack” Tunheim, Senior US District Judge. Judge Tunheim joined as a member of our club in the 80’s and has been an honorary member since he accepted appointment as judge under the Clinton administration in 1995.

Judge Tunheim spoke about the importance of educating young people on the rule of law. He was integral in the founding of the Justice and Democracy Center in St. Paul which promotes that mission. It is an educational center in the St. Paul courthouse for students and the general public to learn and explore.
