Multi-Club Cookoff

The Area 11 Rotary Cookoff is back! This fun, multi-club cookoff will be held at the Lake Elmo Event Center from 5:30-8:30pm on Thursday, July 27th. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite others who might be interested in learning more about Rotary!

For this cookoff, each club will display their prepared macaroni and cheese dish. The Lake Elmo Event Center will create additional menu items to compliment the tasting.

We are looking for a few people who can come together to prepare a delicious macaroni and cheese dish. If you are interested in cooking, please contact Alyssa Mena or Scott Mercer for more information.

The club will cover your expense of attending this event. A cash bar will also be available (at the member's expense). If you plan to attend, please RSVP no later than July 20th. Multi-Club Cookoff: July 27th

Trolley Ride: August 10th. We are taking our meeting on the road! Meet at the Stillwater Trolley kiosk at 12:00pm (400 Nelson Street East). We will board the trolley at 12:15pm and take the 45 minute history ride through town. There will be no lunch but Rotarians are encouraged to eat together following the ride at the Freight House, which is located near the Trolley kiosk. Lunch will be the Rotarian's expense.

2023 Presidents' Picnic

We look forward to the end of the year picnic where we celebrate the closing of a Rotary year and the start of the next one. Thank you to now Past President Robin Anthony Evenson for your leadership! And welcome to incoming President Tom Hollatz!

Hank Sampson Award Winner

Congratulations to Patty Radoc! Patty is the 16th recipient of the Hank Sampson Memorial Award which our club awards to a member in good standing that plays significant roles in the club and demonstrates Rotary's motto of Service Above Self.

Patty has been a Rotarian for 8 years and jumped right in by serving on our Board of Directors. She is a Past President and currently serves on the Service, Social, and Fundraiser committees. She attends weekly meetings regularly where she engages with members and speakers, and makes guests feel welcome. Her contributions towards the mission and ideals of Rotary are sincere and we are grateful to have her in our club!

LAST MEETING: Washington County Sherrif Dan Starry gave an update on Washington County. Sheriff Starry’s motto is to “do the right thing” and it’s clear that he sticks to that and encourages his officers to do the same.
