We are looking for a few members to meet at the Rotary's rain garden on Thursday June 13th at 5:30pm to remove some garlic mustard plants. The rain garden is on the corner of 4th St and Oat St (near the Veterans Memorial by the Historic Courthouse). Please bring gloves. This is the email we received from Ruth with Sustainable Stillwater: I noticed some garlic mustard plants very near the Noon Rotary's rain garden last year. I am certain it is flowering now and the plants have grown many little seed pods. It would be great if you could find a few people to abate this little patch of garlic mustard before it becomes a bigger problem. |
