Thanks for all your work to make the Sampler a HUGE, HUGE success!

 

Based on a brief conversation with Katie Rolf, I anticipate we will be close to last year’s fundraising record! We hope to have more financial details within a few weeks.

 

In addition to the great financial success is was also a huge success in terms of building teamwork, trust and camaraderie among Club members. It was heartening to see: · everyone pitching in to focus on what needed to be done or to offer a helping hand to others · Seeing new members working side-by-side with members that have been involved for many years · Club members arriving early to the event to make sure we had enough help for the final preparations It was also obvious that everyone helped out in some way…whether it was a time consuming role like Peter Polga’s leadership of the event (Many thanks!) or the donation of a silent auction item, it was all important. We join together in clubs, like Rotary, because working together we are stronger than working alone.

 

The success of this event cleared demonstrated the strength, unity and commitment of each and every one of us. It was clear that those at the event were enjoying themselves and building networks and friendships that will last for many years to come. The number of restaurants and the great food offerings were clearly a big hit. I also heard over and over many positives about, the classy ambience, a sound system that worked well, and the new floor lay out.

 

Words cannot begin to express how much I and the other Board members appreciate your commitment to the Sampler, to Rotary and to Service Above Self! I am honored to be the President of a Club that is so energetic, positive and committed to the betterment of our community.
