Mike gave an update on the closer of the Allen S. King plant in Oak Park Heights.

Part of the plant will be a relay station for a solar field in New Richmond. 

 

Plant closure is planned for 2028.

On Sunday July 20th members for our club and the Sunrise club had a float in the Lumberjack Day's Parade. Two of our long-term members rode on the float.

 

Thank you to everyone who participated in the decorating and walking in the parade.  

 

THANK YOU to Patty, Sharon, Tom, Lois, Katie, Amanda, Bev, Clare and Sam (Clare’s son) for packing 40 backpacks for United Way’s Stuff the Bus campaign.  They helped ensure that local kids would have all that they need to succeed on the first day of school.   Service above self in action!
