Brent Peterson from the Washington County Historical Society spoke last week on immigration. The immigration that created our community has similarities to immigration today.

Quad Club Dessert Challenge

Congratulations to the Woodbury Rotary Club. They took home the trophy, winning first place with Katie Bang's (daughter of our Tracey Gallowitz) Chocolate Peanut Butter Delight recipe. It was a great event! Thank you to the Lake Elmo Rotary, Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club, and Woodbury Rotary Club for a fun evening.

Volunteer Opportunities

Youth Exchange Counselor needed

We need a female Rotarian to serve as Counselor for our inbound student from Norway. Your role would be to check in with her periodically and serve as a trusted adult outside of the family in case she needs advice and support. I’ll be your teammate as Youth Exchange Officer. Don’t worry if you don’t speak Norwegian – her English is very good.

There are a couple slots available on Monday, April 25, and one slot on Wednesday, April 27, from 9:30-11 for volunteers to read with Kindergarten students.
